Colin Kaepernick protests anthem due to treatment of minorities

More lies which makes debating you all a waste of time. Kneeling for national anthem = stupid if protesting LEO racism and discrimination is and has been my position. it's low effort, low hanging fruit protest, that completely undermines and destroy the message. literally one of the worst forms of protest I've ever seen when it comes to effectiveness. BLM (without the violence which hurts cause) marches for example seem many many times more impact and effective.

You are upset that he stood up for the Mexican flag due to autrocities committed by Mexican police and the Mexican federal government.

Therefore, assuming you are consistent, someone should be as deserving of your respect and empathy if they kneel for the US national anthem as you have admitted that standing up for an anthem for a country that commits autrocities emotionally impacts you.

I don't know how effective these protests really are but I just don't see it as my place to criticize how and why people protest certain things when I haven't been in their shoes and experienced the things that they have, especially when it's something as harmless as kneeling for the national anthem. You might feel differently but I just think there are a lot of people who are cherry-picking what they constitute as patriotism, that's all.

Your entire faux outrage is built on a premise that Lynch was playing a game of 'comparative politics' when in reality when you apply Occam's Razor, he most likely stood for the Mexican anthem because he was a guest in a foreign country, a country he doesn't have enough nuanced knowledge of to make a statement.
