Unity at home to facilitate individuality from Europe, opportunism with natives and Spaniards, and later impunity abroad. Freedom of thought and action, initially in defiance of monarchies but ultimately as a stimulus for commerce. Superficial but quantitatively unmatched dominance of what was once known as fine arts through engineering, audience research and as a mechanism for integrating marginalized groups.
