James Harden might win a Championship.

JJ Watt sadly will never even reach an AFC title game. It's sad because Watt's career will be cut short because of back problems.

The Rockets were never as popular as the Oilers. Texas is football country.

For most people, the answer is whichever sport you like better.

Since I'm the most unbiased fan, I can say Watt is bigger although I like basketball more.

    Foolish post is foolish.

Last season was his first missing a game, in a sport where players are more susceptible to injury.

$35 million generated for Harvey relief, and you say only commercials are keeping him relevant. You're just a hater.

Speaking of commercials, Watt outdoes Harden in that regard both locally and nationally.

Harden's never been hurt. This is good. Watt's been hurt. This is bad.

If he took that hit from Watt yesterday, it would have broken him in half.

Harden would make one hell of a WR though.

Harden has been to wcf and jj watt has been to divisional round. This is not an arguement. Case closed.... harden it is.

I don't get why people would compare the two players by how they could "lead" their respective team to success. How is a defensive lineman supposed to "lead" his team to winning a game, let alone winning a championship? By sacking the opponent's QB on every possession? Even if he could do that, he would only be playing half of the ball game.

A football team has about 30 players in their regular rotation. A basketball team has about 8. A football team has 24 starters (if you count the place kicker and the punter). A basketball team has 5. The only football players that can be said as "leading" a team to winning are the QBs and sometimes the RBs. No other players can singlehandedly impact the game enough to use the word "lead" as his role.

How many mvp has Harden won?

Watt is 3x DPOY, the highest of his side of the ball. The most of any in NFL history

With that said, Watson is already a bigger star than both of them
