Its nice. Faster and a cleaner look. I switched from Chrome over a year ago. I can't even remember why now.
I use opera when I need vpn, and I can say the newest version is pretty good. However nothing beats edge on a windows 10 machine, period. Chrome is terrible and Firefox is even worse than that. I haven't tried the new firefox, but can't imagine it is that much better. Edge is 1080p. Faster. Less buggy. Cleaner looking. Does bookmarking so much better. When I want a bookmarked site: I just hit the middle button my anywhere 2 mouse and the bookmarks fly out from the right side of the browser. It's great.
I also use bing over google on my desktop. On my phone I use google, it is better and I like the cards that google pulls in according to your interests. But on my desktop, bing is better. Firefox and chrome are slow beasts on windows.
This is the same guy that didn't include an SSD when building a new PC. The real ranking is Chrome/Firefox 57 > Opera > Library > Encyclopedia Brittanica > Edge
If you like jerky scrolling, then be my guest. Edge is the only good smooth scrolling browser out there. Oprea is the best of the rest, but it is still not good as edge. Edge has last pass and ad block and those are the only apps I use. And don't talk to me about chromes bookmarking system, it is a joke. Edge is the only 1080 p browser out there. Edge works with Windows desktop. I am not against Google. I'm against ****. Just like the Microsoft launcher on Android, it is ****, and I use Google now. Bing on mobile is ****, I use Google. Edge is the best browser by far. It is not close on desktop. Groove music was **** and I used Spotify.
Lmao what. You mean Edge is the only browser that plays 1080p content on Netflix. But yeah even if you were 100% telling the truth, that's even more a reason for me to avoid Edge because I use dual 1440p monitors lmfao. King of parroting misinformation and not fully understanding anything when it comes to tech.
my initial thought was why did they go back to looking like netscape navigator. no more downthemall, ie no multi stream dl accelerator for ff now.
I would only use edge for the same reason I'd use Safari...because it can stream 1080p because they both paid for the license while the others didn't
pages are taking so long to even start loading and it's slower than the previous version. quantum has been a bust release for me.
