This is a nice article. Problem is... after the first slump next year (or if Springer bats leadoff and is slumping and Hinch wont move him from leadoff even if we are winning games).. fans will want Hinch to be fired again.
Clubhouse Chemistry and Manager Mojo mean things to the actual players playing the games. We, as fans, can't quantify it, we can discard it, but it exists.
Hinch effectively won the World Series without a bullpen or a closer, that’s Hall of Fame shiot right there. He’s my manager for life now.
I do believe Hinch has earned himself about a 10 year pass on crappy decisions. I think RudyT got about that long.
