ESPN just posted their rankings of the NBA front offices. However, it is only accessible to insiders. Could someone with insider status post the rankings, please? In addition to how they rank us, I'm curious as to what they say about Presti after the Thunder's slow start. Thanks.

The Rockets are revolutionary and the rest of the league is playing catch-up

But to post it would be an admission of money wasted on something seldom useful.

Then again, such a statement indicates that I am aware of my problem, but I continue to subscribe to ESPN Insider, as if hoping it will some day become that which it can never be. A non-time-waster.

Actually, some of the articles are good. However, I get the unwanted ESPN the Magazine as part of it. Maybe I can call the subscription department and request they not send it anymore. Always goes straight to the trash....er, to recycle. Recycle. That's what I meant.

The article is a nothing-burger for now. "Every month, we'll update these more comprehensive standings to show a clearer picture of how teams are built and where they could be headed." The teams so far are ranked only by their win-loss record, with columns for age of players (average), offensive and defensive rankings, salary cap, that sort of thing.

I'd just post what's there (not much yet) but it won't let me copy and paste.

Like Harden, our front office has nothing left to prove in the regular season. Until we show results in the postseason however, we’ll still be behind Bob Myers and RC Buford of the Warriors and Spurs, respectively.

When ppl need to say Pops is a god, they will say RC Buford is Pops assistant who he hired, but Pops makes all the decisions. When ppl need to say Spurs front office is better than Morey's, they will say RC Buford runs the show.

What happens when you combine NBA standings with analytics, the salary cap and the draft?

The standings start to look a whole lot different. For instance, the Celtics' 12-2 start looks even better when you see they're one of the five youngest teams in the league.

Every month, we'll update these more comprehensive standings to show a clearer picture of how teams are built and where they could be headed.

These standings also include additional factors such as age, salary and roster flexibility.

While the traditional standings showcase the teams fighting for a playoff spot, team front offices continue to focus on the broader picture featured below.

    W: Wins
    L: Losses
    ROS: Roster size
    AGE: Average age and rank
OTG: Offensive rating (points scored per 100 possessions)
DTG: Defensive rating (points allowed per 100 possessions)
SALARY: Team salary and rank (in millions)
    ROOM: Cap space (in millions)
    TAX: Luxury tax (in millions)
    TE: Trade exceptions (in millions)
2018 DRAFT: First-round picks owed and owned

We're known as the team that's only good in regular season but flops in the playoffs. Until we make the finals, nothing will change.

So the same thing can be said about every other playoff team not named GSW, Cleveland and San Antonio.

The funny thing about that list is seeing the Mavericks with the 5th oldest roster sitting dead last. Rebuild, you fools!

I hate to give Dallas credit for anything, but, Cuban is doing it right. He is tanking while letting the fan base see dirk off into the sunset. They are excited about the team due to the Supreme German still there, and suck enough to land a top pick.

Damn, our pick is only top 3 protected for this coming year (going to Atl). We need to tank right now to keep that pick.
