    Giannis going to win the MVP, he's the next league darling, loved by fans and media. Harden is an afterthought in most peoples eyes and the media still thinks he plays zero defense.

    The beard is starting to gain fan traction. The opinion of Harden has shot up in the reddit world.

    James Harden may be the best player in the world. Has been the last three seasons coming in to this year.

    Depends on what the Rockets do. If Harden leads them to nearly 60 wins or more and he doesn't win it this year, then the award is officially meaningless.

    It's been a joke for a long time. Hate him or love him, but LeBron should have at least 7-8 of them, not 4. It's a popularity contest. Flavor of the month.

    LeBron was the best player in 4 regular seasons, he got MVP everytime he deserved it. Other years other players had better seasons.

    The only MVP that I care about is Finals MVP. If missing out on the regular season MVP even slightly motivates Harden, then I'm glad that he hasn't gotten it yet.

    These statistically based MVP "trackers" are largely pointless because they do not factor in the most important thing which is who the media decides is the most fun
