I thought the third season kind of went downhill fast, though I loved the first two. I'll probably watch, but not super excited.

Don't have HBO or cable for that matter anymore. Do they still kick out premium shows like this

Deadwood has to be one of the most underrated shows in history. On casting, the dude playing E.B. from the second Bob Newhart show was perfect

Yes, and what makes it nice is with HBOGo streaming can stream the same day new episodes air.

Gerald McCraney wore out his welcome, but it was legit historically.

If they get into the Indian Wars....

I highly recommend "The West" by Ken Burns (documentary) and "Into The West" (historical fiction).

Still can't believe that's the same guy that played Warren in "There's Something About Mary".

I've always said that Deadwood is the best TV show of all time, and I am happy that it will finally get the conclusion that it deserved. Damn that Hollywood writer's strike to hell!

24 is a show that came back, and also did a movie and it worked great both times for the fans.

I loved Timothy Olyphant in Deadwood, or in anything else, for that matter, except for the "human food" thingy on Netflix. I've never seen him give a bad performance. In Justified he was superb. He was terrific in The Girl Next Door, Catch and Release (which has a couple of amazingly hot scenes him and Jennifer Garner (no nudity, doesn't matter), both in one of their best roles), and Go, among many others. I'm surprised that he didn't become a huge star. Oh, he's a star, for sure, but he should have had more good roles as a lead in film, in my opinion. Interesting tidbit. He's a direct descendant of Cornelius Vanderbilt. Timothy comes from money, married his childhood sweetheart, is still married to her, and they have 3 kids. He plays such edgy roles that I was a little surprised to find that out. Hollywood is hell on marriages, with a few exceptions. He's one of the exceptions, apparently.

I couldn't agree more, brother. EB Farnum and Al Swearengen were what made the show. Ian McShane was amazing. It almost made suffering through Tim Olyphant's horrible acting something that was tolerable.
