Wait, do you really think the Rockets won't reduce Harden's minutes when Chris Paul returns?

A team could. Such as the Spurs. Factor in there are maybe a handful of players that could actually help us get there with James but are out of price range or not interested in joining the Rockets. GS is a lock right now, the only way to beat them is with team play not individual talent. What I've been saying is the only way to get to the next level may be to take a step back and go on a youth movement and home grow drafted talent. We have had some success doing so in the distant past. The Astros did it, now they are on top of the World. I'm way past offensive stats, as impressive and special as they are, it doesn't get us anywhere close. I do have enough sports experience to know that GS could at any time implode and break apart, but until there are signs of that I'm resigning to the fact that we cannot beat them as constructed in a 7 game series. Even if we make it back to the conference finals I'm not going to call the season a success. As stated, I'm sick and tired of the Warriors and their fake enthusiasm, high fives, and hugs. And am willing to take drastic measures to defeat them. I'm a Rockets fan first, not a Harden fan.

Remind me to never go to war with you. Your big game plan is to go with youth and finally get good again after watching the Warriors roll the league for 4 or 5 more years? This game plan reeks of softness considering we beat these Warriors you're scared of already on their home court, we have the best record in the West and we've bested the two most recent champs during that time? Imagine the world if people thought this way about Germany or the British Empire. We'd be a world of sissies.

Just a reminder, the Astros went out and got a savvy veteran catcher in McCann, a professional hitting first basemen that's 33 and Justin Verlander in route to a chip. Youth doesn't solve things with certainty, you play the cards you have. We have a young Harden and Capela and we can get somewhere with all the hard nosed players that surround them. We have Chris friggin Paul... jebus...

The Warriors have yet to win two chips in a row and you want to give up? Quitter. I bet you still like Scottie Quitten and Tracy McQuitter.

Remember when Kenny Smith interviewed for the coaching position that eventually went to MDA. How laughable is it that Kenny wants to get into coaching but sees no way for CP3 to help this team. Can you even fathom that?

Kenny actually has a point. Harden is gonna has the ball on his hands a lot and CP is just not a natural off ball player. The rockets also take a lot of quick shots. Sometimes it's just a simple pass and then attack and shoot so CP3's skillset is a bit useless. And it's possible that CP3's return would cannibalize EG's current production. I hope it will work out but I share Kenny's concerns.

And Melo is a better fit for Harden than CP.

He is a pretty new Rockets fan so he clearly didn't watch game 6. I don't blame him. I'd avoid it too if I could.

did he have any superstar around him en route to 55 win season?

who could have single handedly carried the rockets to the same record last season?

LeBron got a taste of what it could be like playing in Houston. Just saying.

Long pipe dream still, but with the Cavs sucking and Lonzo dropping turds in LA, there are very few legitimate options for LeBron to join a contender.

Three straight appearances and it's not like the East is looking to be any better than it was last year. Boston is fools gold with what his name out.

One early game and we can beat the Warriors in a 7 game series? You guys have got to stop drinking the kool aid. We beat them one game last year as well. Then the next matchup they came into TC and wiped the floor with them. It was Cutino Mobley Night and the team let Cutino down. The Cat for god's sake. It was like when President Bush puked on the Japanese Prime Minister.
