Which doesn't change the fact that Obama stepped in, the Chinese changed their plans didn't take the expected actions towards the Philippines, and that Obama's actions caused people to worry over the growing tensions. So it wasn't in any way the same as Trump's actions towards China.
You think Japan is re-writing its pacifist constitution because "Obama stepped in"? The re-write goes back to 2013-2014 when Abe began "reinterpreting" the constitution due to a lack of action by - you guessed it - the United States.
What I think is that Obama handled China differently and tougher than Trump. It isn't exactly the same as you claimed it was. I provided an article and evidence to show that. It's fine if you don't believe Obama was confrontational enough. But it isn't fine to claim that it was the exact same as Trump's ass kissing U.S. blaming approach with China.

He's definitely one of the weakest presidents we've ever had. His willingness and eagerness to back down is all the worse because of his tough talk beforehand only to turn and kiss ass later, while blaming other American leaders.
