[Reform] Japan's PM wants to reform "pacifist" constitution

    This goes back to 2013-2014 when Abe began "reinterpreting" the constitution. Years of unchecked Chinese aggression in and around the South China Sea, and North Korea's nuclear program have pushed Japan to this point.

    I post this now because Trump wants to arm the Japanese further so they can 'shoot missiles out of the sky'.

    And we shouldn’t be. We can still be allies and I wouldn’t mind selling them part of the Pacific Fleet.

    Japan is no slouch defensively. Like Israel, their nuclear weapons program is a worst kept secret.

    Japan has been stuck in a slump for so long. Imagine if Japan could’ve continued to grow economically for the last 20 years.
