I love Mike and Gordy, but honestly Josh Innes is much better at this sort of thing. I don't get the hate for Josh Innes honestly. He's been on the bandwagon all year.
Is there any way to time this thing out? Any estimations on when they'll be at the southern tip (St Joseph)?
Type "Astros Parade" into YouTube. Fox 26 and ABC News have streams with playback. Watching from my desk at work here in LA and was able to go back on the feed listen in on interviews with Luhnow, Hinch, Keuchel, Morton, Bregman, Devo, and Springer (ABC News stream on YouTube). Looks like a lot of fun and wish I could have made it down there.
Those 2 have towed the radio line officially all season for 790 and for him to come in now is a professional D-move.
The Astros are going to Disney World to celebrate the World Series http://www.chron.com/sports/astros/article/Astros-Disney-World-victory-World-Series-12329447.php no wonder the parade was scheduled for today
Yes they have but Innes has also been all over the Astros from even before the season started. Just because he isn't slotted to do pre/post game doesn't mean he hasn't spent plenty of airtime talking about the 'Stros. In fact, for most people wanting to listen to Astros sports talk radio in the morning, Innes and Mud on 790 is the #1 option given the fact that Meltser and Payne hardly ever talked about anything other than the Texans. Say what you want about Innes, but there's no question he's been all over the Astros.
Are we accepting Roger Clemens as an Astro now? He's at the parade celebrating on ABC 13. I know we accept him as a lifelong Houstonian, and I appreciate the years he gave us but him and steroid buddy Pettitte went crawling back to the Yankees afterwards.
That's just bs. I listen almost every morning and he has been cheerleading this team all season. It doesn't sound like you've even listened to his show.
610 is an abomination. All Texans all the time. Even today I tuned over to see if they were talking Texans and of course Stoots and Lopez were. It didn't even sound like they had hosts at the parade. 610 has sucked for as long as I can remember. At least since John and Lance left.
You obviously haven't been listening. Innes is a pretty good listen in regards to baseball. He can get off in to left field easily sure, but he knows baseball.
No...the biggest story in Houston is a World Series Championship, it's not Deshaun Watson. But lord knows, 610 will forever be talking about Texans. It's a God awful radio station.
More people like football than baseball in this town. It is a fact. You may want it to be different, but like every business there are stats out there that explain what these host should be speaking about.
