False. Just because Harden, Morey, and Les are unporfessional quacks doesnt mean all high level people are like that. Just look at Mr.Trump

That level of narcissism is rare and why I describe him as weird.

I don't think that he is aware that he is weird.

    He is extremely narcissistic.

I'd believe that. Morey seems humble and smooth in comparison.

Didn't the Astros blow a top draft pick opportunity as well? Appel or something? I don't follow baseball, just here for the bandwagon.

Hinkie needs to be in baseball. Too many variables in basketball. Even if you get a good basketball player you still need to surround him with veteran leadership. Look at what happened to Harden, dude has some horrible habits and quits. In baseball players dont bring their mental baggage.

"Luhnow failed to sign the No. 1 pick in the 2014 draft, high school lefthander Brady Aiken, after the club detected an issue with Aiken’s elbow and decreased its offer to him."

    Note this...the Astros were right

Lefthander Brady Aiken, the top pick in last June’s draft who didn’t sign with the Astros after concerns about his pitching elbow, had Tommy John surgery on Wednesday.
    And this

The Astros will receive the second overall pick in the 2015 draft as compensation for failing to reach an agreement with Aiken
Astros selected Bregman... who turned into a starting 3B for a WS team in two years.

just goes to show... dont make moves out of desperation or wishful thinking - base it on the information at hand and sound judgement... as opposed to trying to make Royce White work out... lol

Morey's never-ending search for undersized PFs with magical upside.

After Dorsey, Landry, PPatt, Morris, he has a draft with 3 FRPs, so takes two more PFs (Lamb, White and TJones), yet he misses on the guy his data was looking for all these years.

Had the Astros selected Ken Giles with that pick, would you say it was a huge bust?

I mean, they traded Appel for Ken Giles, because they saw Appel was going to have arm problems and need surgery.
