got a Houston chronicle paper today, my mom wen to 10 stores from me, i'm here in Cali. will get it framed getting the paper Saturday with parade pics and write up anyone know when the sport illustrated will go on sale at stores ?
When the Rockets won their first title, I remember my dad taking me to a ballroom in some Marriott or whatever that weekend where they had just piles of the official hats, shirts, pennants, etc. I guess that was a few days after they won, maybe a week. Wonder if they'll have similar events this time around.
Man, I got the fitted series hat they wore on the field... but now I think I need the fitted chip hat too... And of course a shirt. I just wish I had the Chronicle print
The lines at Academy are insane. It took me 20 minutes just to get into the parking lot and I was just trying to get to the xfinity store. So far I've only had 30 minutes to look online. I'll hit the 2k Mark as I'll be buying the signed bats. All going into my office.
Has anyone found out where to purchase the blue hoodies they were wearing last night? So happy I found my SI issue predicting this. Not selling it, going into a nice frame. I stayed out of this forum since the Yankees series, I was just too nervous to internet during the games. So mentally exhausted.

Reminded me I was out of state when the Rockets won the championship, I went to the library and stole the Houston Chronicle right off the shelf. So all the national papers were in big long row with one missing. Still have it. That was before the internet as we know it, and when eBay came on the scene I bought the Rockets SI issues like 10 years later. This year, I will follow the link.

Oh man, nice find!! I still have the 2 issues for SI for the championships (Rockets), and issue when the Longhorns won against USC, but thinking of at least getting the cover from that 2014 issue reprinted (just so awesome), and then framing all of them. That'll be bad ass man if you get that framed, maybe get lucky and have Springer sign it! And yes, series was so damn stressful, but now so worth it!! So I can definitely understand, I am still ecstatic, man. PS I'm a Longhorn fan too and soon to finally be an alumni...

amazing to have our best hitters play up the middle. 2nd baseman, short stop, and centerfield. Also bregman has forced his way in there now too. what a lineup. top four in our lineup are centerfield, 3rd base, 2nd base, short stop. WOW usually sluggers are in left field lol
