Not quite, my conception was closer to Jan-Feb. '94 But TBH... that'd be pretty cool. I would owe my life to the Rockets organization https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Childhood_amnesia You ****ing bet I'm fun at parties
Who else has some of their best childhood memories of.... JOOOOOOSEEEEEEEE CRUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!! From that to this!!! Awesome.
I think they probably should. They shouldn't lose a single experience that comes from winning a title imo. #RESPECT
The problem is.....the occupant of the White House is such a despicable person....it makes the trip distasteful.
I guess it depends on how you draw the line. I also believe in respecting the office of the president of the United States of America...not necessarily the person holding the office at the time we won it all. Yea...it's a fine line. I would also consider the presidential response to Houston and Texas after Harvey. I don't know how weak or strong he is considered to have handled all that. If you think he came through, then it may factor in. If you think he didn't come through, then that may also factor in. That said...I'm good with whatever they choose. It still should be considered an honor regardless.
Cheo was my favorite player as a kid. He also played winter ball for my hometown team in Puerto Rico, so that played a big role with me becoming an Astros fan. I remember the disappointment after Bass struck out against Orosco in that 86 series. That was such a hard fought series, very, very similar to this one, so it feels extra sweet to see the Astros, 31 years later, finally get this one for the city of Houston, and puertoricans like me that have followed them all along.
