    I'm starting to think it might be Tillerson. He's starting to give off that, "I don't need this ****" vibe.

    While I am no Tillerson fan, it must be misery for a successful and intelligent businessman to be beholden to such a dotard.

    The forced resignation of Boente is the most interesting piece of news that is not reported on at all.

    First off- Boente leaving his post as the #3 in charge at the DOJ or #2 as it relates to the Russia investigation means that he now can be a witness and testify.

    Secondly- Did this request come from Rosenstein via Mueller or is it coming directly from Trump because Trump wants to throw the state charges in Virginia by installing someone sworn in to be loyal to Trump? My understanding is a jury has already been picked so not sure both the timing, and the situation makes sense to assuming this firing was to help Trump.

    Lastly- could Trump be setting up an easier route to firing Mueller. I believe next in line at the DOJ is a Trump appointee. We know Rosenstein has said as much that he’d likely resign before firing Mueller. This could be a more clever way of implementing a more slow burn approach to a Saturday night massacre where only one person gets fired (Rosenstein) but one or more people below him have already been let go to give a simpler path to firing Mueller. That’s something Trump fans would let him get away with Im sure.

    Remember though, Boente is the official that instituted the travel ban when Sally Yates would not. I wouldn’t assume cause he’s an Obama appointee that his loyalties will drive him to go one way or another. Still... very interesting firing.
