So many debates about theoretical futures that were never likely to happen. Who should still be here to help us when it may matter. I did cry when the last out was recorded. I love all the major sports and teams I came close to crying when UH won the AAC title in 2015, but this was even sweeter. I have been an Astros fan all my life and there has been times during my years when I thought the idea of this night would never happen. I remember that made for tv movie in the late 70's where there was a murder committed at the world series with the astros playing and the running joke was you know its a movie because the Astros will never make the world series. Now the moment has arrived and after all those epic games we lost in prior post season runs this team found a way to win those games. World Champions 2017 Houston Astros sure sounds sweet.
I still can't believe it... what a historically special season. And to beat out Boston, New York, and finally LA along the way to be champs?! Man, love this team, love this city, literally love you guys!
