@pippendagimp dropping gems in this thread. But what he is saying is pretty much common sense.

Why do people act so ****ing dense?

defense is only partially about effort. anticipation, reaction time, relentless hakeem rim protection mentality, height/reach -- none of these can be learned or developed. lateral quickness and strength can be improved, but only to a certain degree. effort and defensive gameplan preparation (including positioning) are just about all that a poorly skilled/talented defensive player (let's use lou williams as an example) can add for improvement. this is why players who do have actual defensive talent/skills keep getting paid

In glimpses I've seen, Harden is getting fouled seriously hard and he doesn't get the call in most of those situations. Not good for longevity going into the post season.

Verlander takes his first "L" as an Astro.

He pitched well, but not great.

The Rockets lose heart quickly when things aren't going well. We lack mental strength and preparation going in to games.
We are short handed, but we should have gotten past the Sixers with better effort.

That’s why we brought in Paul.

I know this vid is a bit late but nonetheless it's here! My top 5 plays vs 76ers.
I hope you guys enjoy it! :D

Can't wait to see how we match up with Knicks frontcourt

No doubt about it, but we have to do better than what we have done over the last 2 games. Hopefully Ariza and Nene will get back to full fitness to lessen the burden somewhat. Canaan will have to do get going quickly too. I'm more concerned with
Capela's ups and downs than any other player. His energy is badly needed in the front court, and on defense.
