He had no choice but to come back and play... He would have royally screwed himself had he not come back for the Seattle game. If there weren't deadlines in regards to his contract, he would have still held out. He wasn't doing any favors for the Texans.
He was not a Cancer....LOL. A locker room cancer is someone who is hated in the locker by the players. Players loved Duane. No one cared that u hated him.
Lane failed his physical Trade reworked to be Duane and a 2018 5th from Texans to Seattle for a 2018 third and a 2019 2nd
Morey giving out tips! Great trade. More assets to potentially trade into the second round if so desired
Doesn't that just mean we traded an all-pro left tackle for a late second round pick a few years from now and moved one round up in next year's draft?
Neither does a shot at a franchise qb. NE only got a second albeit a high one for possibly a future franchise qb and qbs are even rarer than left tackles. Im always critical about ricky smits and I wont give him too much credit here since this hand was pretty much forced by Brown, but I will give him credit nonetheless. Solid return. Davenport better put on his big boy pants sooner rather than later.
We prob have enough picks to possibly get into late first/early second round this year while still holding on to our own picks. I wasn’t high at all on Lane so getting a third rounder as a trade asset instead makes this trade even better.
Wtf, we basically gave up all pro lt and gave up a pick for two pick. In what world is this a win, at best it's was a shhttty attempt to recoup a lost. Picks mean sht if your gm can't draft compently
