It is a very hard habit to break. Their entire media apparatus is built on that one principle -- if you want to talk about "deep state," there's a very deep state of brainwashing in our lands.

Investigations are looking for crimes after the appearance of crimes, as confirmed by a judge.

I'd be careful, folks, before relying on that twitter thread. I'm no expert, but that image really looks photoshopped to me.

The 1/27 Pappa interview with FBI helps to explain the bizarre dinner invite.
    _______

Comey testified that Trump personally called him at the FBI to invite him to dinner on January 27 at the White House, a highly unusual request from a president to an FBI director.

"He called me at my desk at lunch time and asked me was I free for dinner," Comey told Sen. Angus King. "I said, 'sir, whatever works for you.'"

Comey noted, both at the hearing and in his prepared statement released by the Senate on Wednesday, that he was taken aback by the invitation and assumed there would be others at the meal, but it turned out to be just him and Trump dining in the Green Room at the White House.

Comey also said that Trump asked for his "loyalty" during the dinner and denied salacious allegations made about the president's conduct during his trips to Russia.

This is what we call projection. He's used to years of useless investigations into Benghazi and he assumes the other side does political investigations.

Even though the Benghazi investigations had no criminal charges and this investigation by an actual independent counsel lead by a man appointed by Trump's own Justice Department has resulted in criminal charges.

    Commadore, honest genuine question.
What would your reaction be if Obama's head campaign manager for his presidential bid was charged on conspiracy of treason?

What would your hoesnt reaction be?

Strange that so many people wanted Mueller to resign and worried about mission creep, yet he's already got one guilty plea on the whole Russian-Trump Campaign collusion charge. Papadopoulos has admitted that Trump campaign was aware and supportive of working with the Russians to get dirt on his political opponent in the election. This is not an allegation but an admission of guilt by the guy who did it. And there's more to come but we aren't sure what else will happen.

Crazy stuff. Well done so far by Mueller. He has evidence and already one conviction. I will be happy if he brings charges against more regardless of their party affiliation.

I hope all the players involved except Trump get charged and convicted, but let Trump serve out his four years. This country and especially GOP deserve Trump for the full term, it should serve as a reminder for the future.

Trump could finish his first term in prison. I’d be OK with that.
