This is when being on the west coast helped a lot. I still can’t get over the roller coaster that was tonight’s game.

Yeah, I've been trying to figure out the same thing, and I don't have an answer. We won't know until they close it out. He may have given up two runs tonight, but workhorse Brad Peacock should be in the mix as well for what he's done this series. This team has made it happen as a team; not knowing who the MVP of this series should be if we win is a pretty a good place to be in.

he said my bad after the slide but I don’t understand why he even slid when he was out by a mile. He slid so damn late.

Usually cool headed Altuve took offense to it.

I cannot believe what we are witnessing.

Finally we are on the right side of these games.

i've always thought MVP of series is pretty stupid, and still waiting for any recipient to say "this means nothing to me. baseball is a team sport" or some such, but i'd say barring a huge clinching game from bregman or springer, altuve is a lock.

and we are 1 win away from Altuve joining Hakeem on the same level of Houston Sports' Mount Rushmore.

enjoy it fellas, you are witnessing probably what will be at least the top 3 astros of all-time playing right now. we are really damn lucky.

I’m recording it but then I realized I can’t take the anxiety again. Actually I can’t deal with the level of ange I have for our bullpen.

Is @Hustle Town bro enough to admit @swyyyguy is a true fan yet? I certainly hope that he sees you for who you truly are. OP needs to keep making game threads.

I set the bookshelf up this way for Games 6 and 7 against NYC, and I just set it up again the same way, with the Rudy T. bobblehead karma thrown in. We're doing this.

Saw this: Derek Fisher went from being one of the most loved names in LA sports to one of the most hated.

There is no bullpen where we’re going. I was actually thinking Verlander might get a call there tonight. I d say tomorrow we go with Giles again because he’s like, uh, our best option lol. Harris is a flat liner, Devenski is getting tore up, McHugh is wild, Giles is getting raked, Gregerson is a dead man walking, Peacock is out of gas, Musgrove is shaken, and Liriano is throwing beach balls. Luckily, the Dodgers are rupturing too.

You go with verlander as long as possible. If we have a late game lead and verlander looks shakey then hinch just might elect to burn lance and go for the series win right there. Way too many moving parts to predict hownthe game plays out andbwhat hinch will do

Derek Fisher stretched out right before the big run. And windmill went to work. What a slide. The throw didn’t look too off target.

    astros fans have no fear

    water beats fire

astros 17-3 at home since returning back to mmp from harvey, facing mets pitcher matt harvey

17-3 if you mix it around can become the houston area code "713"

l.a. is having wildfire problems i think right now( which is not good), but water beats fire(.. its a code, even john smoltz was predicting what was gonna happen next in the 6th inning. The game was supposed to end at a final score of 12-11
