I just have no words.... I've never felt like this after watching a sporting event before....not even when the Rockets won their ships. Soaking it in....
this is the greatest sporting game of all time dude, i've never felt so much tension and a swing of emotions ever
I can only imagine how Dodger fans feel (there are some legit ones). Losing 2 of these epic nerve rackers But f**k em, this city has been on the wrong end more than enough, we've earned these tasty W's
Yeah it's like last year, with the 69 or however many years-deprived Indians going against the 100+ years-deprived Cubs. On one hand you feel for Cleveland/LA, but on the other hand...we deserve it more.
Should someone also make a Joc Pederson appreciation thread for watching his double thinking it was a homerun but should have been a triple.
Not sure if this is the greatest game. But this has to be the greatest world series ever, even after only 5 games. Every game was a nail biter all the way to the last inning.
What's blowing my mind right now is this: We were unanimously in agreement that game 2 was the greatest game in Astros history. This game was SO MUCH BETTER.
It's a great world series, but man there are some amazing ones - like 2016 in that game 7 thriller. The Toronto-Phillies series. The Braves - Twins in 91. The Red Sox - Mets in 86 - do you remember the ball going between the legs of Buckner? 1975 WS was pretty amazing as well - that Fisk shot was iconic. This is definitely one of the all time great WS games - up there in the top 10. And if the next two games are anything like last night - then ya, this just might top all those previous series.
It's the greatest game I've ever been to without a question!!! I told my brother we'd win 3-2 before the game. I guess I was a little off.
Game 5's final ranking: 6th-most-exciting World Series game of all time (almost even with the 4th/5th-place games) based on win expectancy. (Game 2 is now ranked #16) http://www.thebaseballgauge.com/pos...WPA=game&results=50&page=1&sort=tWPA_a#metric
