I 100% agree with the fact that BoB has more faith in our defense than Deshaun, which baffles my mind. Watson is already showing he might be the best player on the team let alone the offense. In crucial situations he needs to have the ball in his hands. The defense isn’t capable of getting stops when they need to anymore and BoB hasn’t recognized this yet.

Play action boot with two route options, TE and Hop, to wide side of the field would have been a great call. The loss sucks but shows promise for a very accessible division.

Through the air and on the ground Watson more than held his own against one of the league’s best defenses but ultimately the balance of the game favored the quarterback who made fewer mistakes. The overall production with Watson may not be consistent yet but Hopkins is finding the end zone and when he connects with Watson he goes off in a big way and is utterly unstoppable on days like today. It looked a mismatch on paper as he went head-to-head with Rees Odhiambo, and so it proved with Clowney too quick, too strong and just too good for the Seahawks left tackle. He ended the day with a sack, hit and seven hurries as well as two tackles for loss in the run game, with countless victories the stat sheet doesn’t count. Clowney can do it against below average players, but the challenge for him is to do it against better players. Todays pressure totals accounted for 33 percent of his totals on the year. EDGE DEFENDER LAMARR HOUSTON, 78.3 OVERALL GRADE Houston debuted before the bye week with a solid effort, and showed he can still be an effective player going up chiefly against Germain Ifedi. Yea i was there's no way this was vrabel or RC fault bill has to do better wtih his clock management this is the second time he has givin the other teams QB time to work.
The real question is does that allow us to get into the playoffs, specially with the Jags playing well.
At this point, I don't think you can expect to make the playoffs given the state of the defense, but they'll have a shot.
I’m not worried about the jaguars, they’re not that good. They’re basically last years texans. What worries me is their easy schedule. They could go 10-6.
The Jags are for real in the sense that they are good enough to compete with anyone thanks to that defense. It was fortunate for them that they were able to snag a franchise corner to pair with their recently drafted franchise corner. Not franchising Bouye was such a mistake. We now have 3 below average corners in terms of athleticism and no notable coverage safety. Just ridiculous.
Ya exactly, it's not them being good, it's there schedule and them being able to win that worries me.
somehow I fear we will be saying this again when we run lamar up the middle on 3rd down and short. it will happen again.
