No, that may be what the Defenders of Trump thought liberals would say, and it may be what they have accused the liberals of saying it, but almost no liberal on these boards and few liberals anywhere have said anything like that.

Watching Hillary-huggers and socialists refer to themselves as liberals is the worst part about the “debate and discussion” here at Clutch Fans.

If that's the worse thing you see on these boards, then you have a blissful existence here. Where are these Hillary-Huggers of which you speak?

I take it back. Having to read that racism is no big deal outside the US is the worst part about the DD. How devastatingly uneducated and ignorant most one be in order to make such claims?

Just to restate a key distinction between the dossier that Clinton campaign might've funded and the Trump campaign working with the Russians. In the case of the dossier it was the Clinton campaign funding a former British agent to collect info regarding Trump ties to Russia. In the case of the the Trump campaign it was the Russians themselves coming forward to offer information to the Trump campaign.

I don't recall any payments being made, follow up meetings, or initiation of dialogue coming from anyone associated with the Trump campaign to the Russians.

What we do know is that the publicist of an Azeri billionaire claims that a "Russian government lawyer" had compromising information on Clinton - which could have been information that she heard through WikiLeaks or just entirely fabricated. Though, I think we will both agree that Mueller's investigation will go further than our DD analysis and reveal the truth.

Nice accusations. Racism is wrong no matter where it is. But it doesn't have the same significance. I formed that opinion while living abroad and interactions with folks living abroad.

What I find ignorant is someone who thinks that the significant and shameful history of racism doesn't play into how serious the problem of it is.

Yes. The Russians were willing to help the Trump campaign on their own because they saw a benefit to them. This wasn't a matter of hiring a foreign agent to do opposition research. This was a matter of representatives of an adversarial power willingly offering to help a US political campaign.
The information itself is important but not crucial to the ethical violation. It would be the same as someone offering to sell child p*rnography accepting that offer and then claiming that it is OK if the p*rnography wasn't actually child p*rn. Considering that Trump Jr. initially lied about the nature of the meeting shows that even he knows that accepting Russian political aid, even if it wasn't as good as he hoped, was ethically questionable.

Fully agree and look forward to seeing what Mueller will find.

One case Russia was trying to gain influence with Clinton but failed, in the other Russia tried to gain influence with Trump and succeeded. Too bad that comic misses that subtle point

The reason Steele was hired was because of his connections to the Kremlin. Clinton was paying for Russian information.

This is a bit of a stretch in logic.
Also Clinton just picked up research from one of Trump's rivals. You guys are trying to manufacture a faux scandal

Pardon the hell out the latter. Just want the Loyalists to stfu about hypocrisy and American Exceptionalism whIle we're living under a blatant Oligarchy.

    You Trumpanzees.

Indictments about to be handed down so the right-wing machine goes into overdrive to protect Trump. Amazingly, this story trying to shift focus onto Clinton appears.

Well, good luck. Might even work a little. But nothing cuts through bull*** like indictments.

I don't mind locking everyone up if it means the Agent Orange and his corrupt family is locked away as well.

His base will let him go Sandy Hook and they'll still jump the cliffs of Iwo Jima for him.

Their slum king needs to be humbled before criminal indictments and all the other stuff follows.

His base will not accept anything less than him being declared el Fuhrer de la Americana. Trump has done one good thing at least, he's shown us that the true colors of about 1/3 of this country is....white only.
