LOL since when has he cared about his team? He's done everything possible to sabotage the team all season long. Don't be ridiculous.
I know what you are doing (whether or not you conciously realize it). You find some negative narrative to cling on to in the hope that you are 'proven right' and get that 'I told em so' feeling. Don't be that guy.
I'm not sure that's true, clearly multiple members of the Texans fail to grasp how idioms work, and I'm still not 100% sure you do either. Anyone thinking that McNair actually called players or anyone "inmates" or "prisoners" is an example of someone too stupid to comprehend how idioms work.
It's not a matter of being "proven right", when it comes to this issue there is an intelligent take and then there's drooling nonsense. Spoiler alert, the side that fails to grasp how idioms work is the side covered in drool.
It's funny how you talk about the team like you're actually in the locker room. Ppl who actually know the players and have connections (Braddock, Lance Z, Aaron Wilson etc) said the players respect Duane a ton and he kept in touch with his franchise qb the entire time he was holding out. But of course you know more than them so carry on.....
Watson looked like ass in preseason, he couldn't complete even the most simple passes, the fact that he's come a long way since then doesn't mean that he should have been started day 1.....and doesn't make up for Duane Brown doing everything in his power to sabotage the team. If he cared about the team at all, he wouldn't act the way he's acted this season. Sorry kid, there's no defending your boy.
In what way would the players respecting and keeping in touch with Duane Brown while he was actively trying to sabotage the team mean that he wasn't trying to actively sabotage the team? Take your time, think this one out.
So him holding out for more cash and looking out for his family's future is sabotaging the team? Gotcha. Keep those hot takes coming as usual.
These guys have degrees a lot of them in communication I'm sure they comprehend the understanding of figure of speeches. They know they weren't literally called inmates and you do too. The thought to use that figure of speech in relation to the nfl at this crucial/sensitive time was the issue here. And to call to question someones intelligence is another sign of what type of guy you are too.
Yeah....him holding out, ensuring that the team would feel the pain of not having their starting LT, was sabotaging the team in order to try to get more money for himself. I don't have crayons, so you'll have to do the best you can to figure this one out without visual aids. Since he's been back, he's continued to sabotage the team because he wants out. He's consistently put his agenda ahead of the team because the team isn't something he cares about. Like I said, take your time to try and figure out what I'm saying. I know you struggle sometimes.
LOL, wow. Well if maybe a handful of them have degrees, I guess that makes them failing to understand how idioms work that much more impressive right? I call into question the intelligence of people who demonstrate a lack of intelligence....so yeah, whine about it, but it is what it is.
You could have just said "even if you struggle to see it." But you're so educated you threw in 6 useless words. Annnnnd ignored. Nice avatar BTW
LOL seriously? You couldn't find something better than that to try and troll me with? I guess someone who struggles to comprehend how idioms work is someone who likely struggles at many things in life. You have my pity.
No, but the fact that the name calling was accurate is likely to lead to him being gone. Hopefully he's traded or cut immediately after the game. They made a mistake allowing him back, and it's time they rectify that mistake but cutting out the cancer while there is still time.
