I'm not sure that's true, clearly multiple members of the Texans fail to grasp how idioms work, and I'm still not 100% sure you do either. Anyone thinking that McNair actually called players or anyone "inmates" or "prisoners" is an example of someone too stupid to comprehend how idioms work.

It's funny how you talk about the team like you're actually in the locker room. Ppl who actually know the players and have connections (Braddock, Lance Z, Aaron Wilson etc) said the players respect Duane a ton and he kept in touch with his franchise qb the entire time he was holding out. Watson looked like ass in preseason, he couldn't complete even the most simple passes, the fact that he's come a long way since then doesn't mean that he should have been started day 1.....and doesn't make up for Duane Brown doing everything in his power to sabotage the team. These guys have degrees a lot of them in communication I'm sure they comprehend the understanding of figure of speeches. They know they weren't literally called inmates and you do too. The thought to use that figure of speech in relation to the nfl at this crucial/sensitive time was the issue here. And to call to question someones intelligence is another sign of what type of guy you are too.

No, but the fact that the name calling was accurate is likely to lead to him being gone. Hopefully he's traded or cut immediately after the game. They made a mistake allowing him back, and it's time they rectify that mistake but cutting out the cancer while there is still time.
