I'd rather put Altuve in at pitcher than GIles.

Best of 3. Tomorrow is a must win. I think we can take 1 of 2 in LA if we win tomorrow.

I don't see us winning last 2 in LA if tomorrow is a loss

Astro players don't care about it. Most Astro players and fans feel the same way as Gurriel. That's why Houston and the entire team has his back. If anything, if makes the Astros better as a team

So true. Most of the other Astros players were just smart enough to not do it on camera. Gurriel got the biggest cheers, so Houston is completely backing this guy.

    Blame the bullpen, not Gurriel.

AJ Hinch took away our chance of going up 3 games to 1 and almost surely winning a WS. It was very unlikely we would lose 3 in a row. Now the Dodgers are again the favorite to win the series due to home field advantage.

The enormity of this loss cannot be understated. Pitching Ken Giles in a tie game in the 9th of a WS game is the worst managerial decision in Astros history. Not even going to try to defend AJ. If this were NY he would be fired if we lose this series.

Yeah, all our core guys are locked up lol

Win or lose this series if anything we can only improve.

Not that it's guaranteed of course or anything, but this will be an elite team for a good few years.

You are probably right, but verlander has turned our season and our postseason around before. If we end up in a doomsday situation going back to LA down 3-2, There is nobody that I would rather have on the mound to set us on the right track than verlander in game 6.

Of course, thats still not the best scenario to rely on the mccullers peacock duo to get us through most of the innings in a road game 7. I do like that tag team though.

Ideally we get a gutsy performance tommorow and give Verlander the opportunity to close the dodgers out.

I was at today's game and that was so awful watching the astros bat. Only excitement was watching Morton pitching out of an inning and Springer homerun. We are in same situation again. If the bats go silent, we lose. We are not going to win any 1-0 ballgames. Overall, even if the Astros do not win the World Series, it was a great ride this month. You never know when you will ever come back to the World Series, just ask Cleveland.

I cannot say it any better than you, but I will put in my $.02, in bold.

For all of you that are saying that the series is over:

STOP BEING p*****s! Man the **** up already! There are no crybabies allowed on ClutchFans. We've been through too much **** together this year to curl up in fetal positions now.

Let me tell you all something about ClutchFans. ClutchFans is a group of tough mother****ers- that's what we are. We don't act like a bunch of p*****s when we lose- especially when we're not even down in the series. Could you imagine if the players themselves were reading some of this negative ****? They'd tell you the same- you don't give up on your team, you dig in, put your big boy pants on, and live to fight another day.

ClutchFans refuses to let negativity kick in.

ClutchFans refuses to give this series up until the very last out.

ClutchFans refuses to use the excuse that what has occurred in Houston sports over the past 22 years has anything to do with THIS team, RIGHT NOW. We can win this just as easily as the Dodgers. Fact.

ClutchFans refuses to let media bias, so-called curses, social media jackholes, or anyone else dictate the narrative. The narrative is that we have a badass mother****ing team and THAT TEAM is not going to lay down and die. They're going to get up, dust themselves off, and fight tomorrow.

That's what each of you, as members of the greatest sports fan site in the world, need to tell yourselves.

Stand up. Stare Negativity straight in the face.

And you kick that b*stard as hard as you can right in the ****ing teeth.

At least hinch knows he can absolutely not pich giles again. Verlander keuchel and mcullers. I still like out chances to win the next 2. If not, morton with the game 7 save.

Everyone is melting down and I'm inclined to follow until I realize that no team has any business winning a game when they only get one facking hit. To be honest, most of you all are overstating how close we were to winning this game. Would have been amazing to get the win and be one game away but it would have been an undeserved lucky win. Sorry if that upsets your narratives but gotta be real.

I agree with you. Some of you need to stop scapegoating Giles as the only reason we lost. Yes, I'm sure that he probably won't be here next year. But he kicked ass for us several times this year, and as much as he ****ed up, so did Musgrove, and so did the hitters, including Altuve.

No excuses. The team lost. Series is tied 2-2.

Well it was 2 hits if you count bregmans.

We were definitely in position to have an opportunity to walk off the game in the 9th or extra innings.

Yeah we might’ve lost anyway but giles didnt even give us the opportunity.

Series is tied 2-2 which is a disappointment but this happens a lot, so we're back to square one which is also fine. Could be worse. There's a lot of luck in baseball and we got the short end of it tonight, while we got the good end of it in game 2. Just have to get lucky and maybe get to Kershaw, or win both in LA. It's not probable to happen, but definitely could.

I didn't because it was after the bullpen implosion. Find me regular season wins where a team had 1-hit through 8 innings let alone in a World Series. Dodgers bullpen shut our offense down for 8+ innings and that's the story of the game. Giles and Hinch are being scapegoated but neither had any margin of error because the bats were dominated. Tip your hat to the Dodgers pitching and try again tomorrow.

You just called all Astros fans crackers so maybe you're the racists POS. Get a grip and try not to discriminate entire fan bases.
