Haven't we learned from this postseason that momentum isn't even a real thing? This series is far from over

Roberts had no problem pulling Stripling after a 4 pitch walk and that's what it takes even if he is your damn "closer".

The moment Giles comes into the game, my phone blows up on all my group chats with everyone ******** themselves and getting ready for the worst. That's now how you should feel when your closer comes into the game.

He panics and cannot handle stress or pressure. If he has a 3-2 count in a pressure situation it will end up in a walk. If he has two outs, he labors and doesn't get a third out without the ball hit right at a fielder.

He may be a good man away from baseball, but mentally he doesn't compete and is a loser.

100% but even with this crap we were in a position to win the game. Which would have been huge given how bad we did hit today.

I think Giles would be good to act as Vanilla Ice in a movie biopic. But, he has to go to Harvey Weinstein's suite to discuss the script with him. There is a lot of pressure in nailing those dance moves, though. Film time is limited. He has a career opportunity after baseball. That's all I'm saying. ;)

Would rather pitch her over Giles.

Giles sounds like Freddy Mercury in his hit song "One Pitch" (really..."One Vision")

    One flesh one bone
    One true religion
    One voice one hope
    One real decision
    Wowowowowowo gimme one pitch
    Hey

Lmao. I don’t blame him for saying that but dude lost his chance.

Imagine how his teammates feel. I’m sure they have lost all belief in him as someone that they want to go to war next to.

How does he even look them eye to eye or speak to them in that locker room?

Best of luck to him in his future endeavors I guess, but he isn’t the man for this job. When you need a ballsy or gutsy performance, he isn’t the guy to call.

Amazing how wishy washy Houston fans are. The one dude up above saying the series is "over". Well lets just hand LA the trophy, and not play the next couple of games since we are all giving up. Pathetic!

If we start turning our backs on these guys, the it is OVER. Dont ****ing give up on them yet. OUR two best pitchers are going the next two games. So what about Kershaw!! Keuchel can and will match the intensity, and the bats will respond.

Do you really have any doubt that Hinch rolls Giles back out there again in the 9th if it's a save situation? You know he will...because he's just blinded by the "it's his job" fallacy and the "he's done it all year" mantra. He ain't been doing his job, Hinch!

After listening to Giles in the post game interview, I don't even think he realizes how bad his pitching was.
Giles was just just delusional.

I haven’t given up on this team or the series. I’ve given up on Giles.

Will be tough to beat kershaw and win one on the road or lose to kershaw then win two on the road but there is a lot of baseball left to be played.

We need keuchel to put forth a great effort and need our offense to step up vs kershaw.

Huge playoff games sometimes have unlikely heroes.

Yeah, he was already defeated in every way. Only natural to try to pick himself up with that type of delusion. He’s still going to be trying to make a living off this sport so he’s gotta be a salesman.

Screw whatever he has to say. We aint listening.

The team will not let him have the ball anymore. He just pitched his last inning as a houston astro.
