    - I put this loss about 90% on Ken Giles. Yes, Musgrove gave up the big homer to blow the game open...but it was Giles that put Musgrove into that difficult situation in the first place. I've already lost faith in Giles due to his Game 2 performance...but now I'm at the point where I don't want Hinch to put him out there ever again in this World Series. Giles is reminding me of Gregerson from a couple years ago. The only pitcher I trust less than Giles is Liriano. I think Giles's problems are 100% mental...he just looks shook out there and lacks killer instinct.

    - Hinch should've stuck with Morton a bit longer...give him a chance to work around the Bellinger double and hopefully get through the 7th without allowing that run the score. Then go to Devo for the 8th. I don't have a lot of confidence in Harris.

    - Tomorrow's game is now a must-win. Keuchel will need to deliver a similar performance to what he did in Game 1 vs. the Yankees, especially if Kershaw is on his game.

Yep. Every single person that has watched the astros post season knew it was stupid. Everyone around me was dumbfounded. Absolutely criminal decision by Hinch. I am choking on my own rage now.

Morton was starting to fade, maybe he pulled him an inning too early but that's a tough call there. In either case should have put in McHugh, but at the end of the day Harris only gave up one run. Putting in Devo for Harris was okay. But pulling Devo early was a HORRIBLE move. Especially for Giles. Then you throw Musgrove out there in a horrible situation.

Complete contrast to yesterday's pitching decisions where Hinch let it ride with McCullers and Peacock (although even then it looked like he was almost about to blow it by throwing in Harris for Peacock at the end there).

Chances of us returning to the WS next year is slim.

Stros cleared out Carter, Castro’s, Rasmus. Now they need to clear out Giles, Harris, Lirano, and Gregerson.

And Bregman would have won us the game. One single decision (and it's about the worst anyone could have made in that situation, seriously, what could have been worse than putting in Giles?) cost us this game, and maybe a World Series. We all knew this was coming, we all did, yet our millionaire manager didn't. I've never given Hinch grief, but if we lose tomorrow and then the series, he should fired on the spot.

Hoping the real playoff Kershaw shows up tomorrow after watching him run to the mound after tonight's game

Anyone that doesn't think Giles isn't a loser is being purposely obtuse.

He honestly cannot do anything more to make it obvious.

Giles has been scored upon in 6 of his 7 postseason games.
The one game he wasn't scored upon? He had a 6 run lead.

His era in the ALDS..... 6
His era in the ALCS..... 9
His era in the WS......... 25

He has now given up 10 runs in 7 innings this post season.

He tried very hard to hand game 2 to the Dodgers and he did give game 4 to the Dodgers.

Giles is a loser, he cannot handle pressure. As the pressure increases he progressively gets worse.

He will be replaced this summer, but for the rest of this series, he needs to be put in mothballs.

    Altuve 0-4
    Correa 0-2 (1 walk)
    Gurriel 0-3

    Can't win with this.

If we get a MLB closer, we'll be back. With Verlander for an entire year and someone with two ounces of talent replacing Beltran, I could easily see us winning 105+ and a return trip. But Giles can not be on this team.

Some dude gave me grief for saying he was a scrub in September. Lol. If Giles is on this team next season I'll be very disappointed.

This series is over. The momentum that Astros had was killed by Gurriel's stupid racial slur. They have to play in an apologetic manner now. Hardly the killer instinct that they need to play with

And dont be surprised if Darvish pitches a gem in the deciding game and gurriel goes 0-4 against him.

When I saw Giles headed to the plate I knew it was over.

I think giles isn't smart enough. Doesn’t look mentally there in big games.
