Kershaw is not invincible, I sure hope the Dodgers and him think that.

We can get to him, we can even rock him, these hitters can get to anyone.

You know what hurts the most after this game besides losing it?

Is that every single person around me KNEW something bad was going to happen in the 9th once we saw Giles. After the 4-0 walk to start the inning, you can see he was NOWHERE near the zone. We were all like get him out, this isnt going to work. The people knew it here at my place, and we knew it here on CF.

Yet.... he was allowed to stay in, when every single piece of evidence, both past and present told you otherwise. We're not professionals, but people usually know when a bad situation is getting worse.

    The rest? Well you know.

    Things that need to happen:

Stop putting in Harris with RISP.

Stop letting Devo pitch in the 8th/9th.

    Stop pitching Giles at all.

We have 3 games left. Only relief pitchers I want to see are McHugh, Peacock, Devo, Morton, or any of the starters.

Hinch should have removed Giles after the first walk with 0 outs. He definitely should have removed him after two men were on with no out.

He trusted him with two men on even though he gave up runs in 5 out of 6 games prior. Mistake.

Well there are a TON of people here on Clutchfans who claim they trust Giles and don't have concerns when Hinch puts the ball in his hands.

I don’t think I’m quite there yet. He can still redeem himself but if he ends up pulling some dumbass **** like this the next two games he’s got to go.

Percentages and stuff mean little at this point.

The Dodgers were 98-0 during that situation they were in game 2. 98-0.

Jansen unhittable, unbeatable... Astros said F that and won anyway.

Series was lost when Astros management didn’t acquire bullpen help at trade deadline when the entire baseball universe assumed we would address such a glaring weakness.
