If I was a NBA GM it would be strictly mandatory for all players to wear those thigh/knee guard sliders every game
I simply reported what Rose said on the Jalen & Jacoby podcast. I didn't suggest it was accurate, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was. Jalen has some insider info at times.
I told you guys on the front page. Keith Jones and his bs timelines. 2-4 weeks realistically means 8-10 weeks. Don’t worry.
If you listen to this podcast with Morey, Morey says that Paul would be playing if these were playoff games. So I think they are being extra cautious. Random bonus: Morey said his favorite trade (other than Harden) was when they moved Rafer Alston for Kyle Lowery.
Ugh... the Athletic is filled with Warriors homers. Disappointed Morey went on with them. Info is good tho
Ha, I only listened because Morey was on there and it was 20 minutes. I picked out the important stuff. ;-) That whole national Bay Area writing group - Hayes, Spears, Amick, Athletic - tough to stomach a lot of the time.
I’m sure the knee is fine and I get Chris Paul wants to play but he needs to look at the bigger goal and that’s winning a championship. We can’t win it unless he is 100%
MDA said once (over a week ago), paraphrasing, "We have a good schedule while he's out -- only one B2B between now and then." Tonight is the lone B2B that he was referring to. The next one is Nov 11/12, so he seems to be saying the plan is before then. The last two games before the next B2B are separated by 3 practice days. Those games are Nov 5th (Utah at home) and Nov 9th (Lebron at home). Three consecutive practice days is a rarity in an NBA schedule. I'm sure MDA has had those days circled for quite some time...for pushing out some new offense, and fixing some things. He did the same thing last year. So, based upon those practice days, and MDA's comment about B2Bs, Paul will be back for either the home Utah game, or the home game vs Lebron. MDA either gets him in to help against Gobert's defense (and to knock off rust pre-Lebron) and then we do 3 big practice days, or he brings Paul back for those full practices and showcases Paul in the CLE home game. Nov 5th or 9th
Yup, and I want us to win for the next 6 years with CP3 at the helm, so he needs to looks super long term sort of like Nene.
we need a capable big man for CP3 to really shine. At this point we're probably not missing him that badly
I assume he may be nearing return cus we cut Canaan already or the Rockets were THAT impressed with Bobby last night
