    He isn't a guarantee win but that's why I said almost must win. Need to win tomorrow and brace for a possible loss to Kershaw. I know we won't, but I would be tempted to delay DK one game and have DK and Verlander pitch game 6 and 7. No way we can lose b2b games right with our 2 aces right without them facing kershaw?! But of course we won't do that

    lol bro, get that loser mentality out your system.

    no player goes in there and says "we have to brace ourselves for a Kershaw loss"

    keuchel has been lights out in the playoffs at home. lol im not delaying our aces in an effort to "concede" a loss in game 5. why do some posters still think like this? anything can happen, why would you risk a game without putting your best product out there? and what's to say the dodgers 2 and 3 guys (who are aces in their own rights, especially darvish) don't pitch gems in games 6 and 7?

    tomorrow is a must win not because we have to face Kersh in gm 5, but because it puts pressure on us to not give back home field advantage.

    I am waiting on our bats to wake up and not leave 10 men on base.

    That and I'll take my chances against Kershaw up 3-1. One thing not mentioned much is that Dodgers have not faced much adversity this postseason. I think Darvish was a victim of that tonight, especially when you add in the MMP atmosphere. First things first, let's see how Alex Wood handles the pressure of trying to avoid a 3-1 hole.

    Definitely there's that possibility, but from what I've seen of them batting in this series, they haven't looked like guys that are just a little off and are about to lock in. They look like they genuinely are getting bested by our pitchers and punishing occasional mistakes. We have enough starters to pull off two more two-pitcher wins. Hoping for another M&M night tomorrow with Morton & McHugh this time.

    It's not a bad assumption that the Dodger bats will pick up, though, especially as things get more desperate. BUT I do think our bats are still picking up steam as well. They got back into the black in the Game 2 comeback, put up enough runs to protect a lead in this game, and they're capable of way more. They have two more games, and if they keep the taste of blood in their mouth, they can put up the runs they need to stay ahead.

    My apologies for not being on the thread during the game. I was far too into it and I also didn't want to get wind of the Rockets game. Watched it immediately after. My boy Yuli doing it again for us!

    YULI = professional hitter

    Let's keep it going Houston.

    The Astros starters have dominant stuff, they just can't get you deep. We've found a way around that issue.

    Hopefully Morton can get us 5 more innings of dominance before tagging out.

    Tomorrow is such a massive game. I'm just thinking about a potential Home Keuchel in a clinch scenario and I get chills.

    Yu Darvish's shortest outing of his career, and his first career start without recording a K - two was his minimum.
