They're both carrying 12 pitchers (4 starters, 8 in the pen), Stros just haven't used them as much so far. (3-3 game 1, then 5-9, then 2-6 tonight). The off day yesterday helped them more than us, wrt resting the pen.

So how much of an impact does it have on pitchers that pitch between 8-18 pitches on 3 consecutive days? Is this a non issue because of the low pitch count?

I'm still waiting for the Dodgers' bat to wake up.

They got 3 runs from just 4 hits. and in game 2 they got 3 runs from just 2 hits when verlander was in.

Sooner or later they're going to start hitting and get runs.

I feel like the Astros are destined to win the World Series this year because of Harvey.. similar to New Orleans with Katrina.

I think March would be a great time for that.

This game McCullers’s loaded the bases with consecutive walks to help them obtain runs.

That just can’t happen. I like McCullers but was quite disappointed in him loading up the walks one right after another.

Incredible. Get them again tomorow then finish this at home.

I'm still in disbelief this is all happening.

With Yuli playing like he is, the only spots they're below good right now are catcher and LF.

As long as the Astros can strike first and early, it’ll always put pressure on the Dodgers to climb the hill.

53 pitches, 47 fastballs for Peacock. Said he couldn't get a feel for the slider so he just went with what worked.

i don't know. i've said this a lot but i still think their bats have overperformed all year, and it's showing now. all of them are having career years, i'm not surprised to see them regress, albeit at this juncture of the year.

seems like he hasn't found his slider for a while now

So with Peacock’s pitch count, does that render him unavailable for Sunday as a reliever?

What are you basing Marwin not being good in LF on? I thought he's been good.

I'd say Peacock can do an inning Sunday. McHugh/Musgrove can pop in tomorrow hopefully. I think their bullpen is mroe beat up then ours.

Kershaw is far from a lock in the playoffs. He may be the best but I personally don't pencil him in as a win every time...

The team has been good in the postseason. Watching Sanchez butcher every throw home makes me appreciate McCann more.
