Lmao as someone who is half cuban, i can attest to this. Some of my first generation cuban relatives are not the most racially sensitive people around.

I will say a lot of them dont view it as hurtful though. They just think its fair game joking around.

No. I personally wouldn't make that gesture. I just don't think making fun of someone's eyes looking different than their own is a big deal, just insensitive.

Yeah it sucks for me that my fav player who is cuban like me did this. Sucks that i spent 150 dollars on his jersey and now might risk judgment whilr wearing it.
