There are more percentage of whites in Australia than in united states. You probably wouldn't like it.

Week 1-7: No one kneels. We completely avoid the media spectacle and distraction.

Week 8: One stupid comment and we will now be the dead center of the media attention with the biggest and boldest protests yet.

Thanks alot McNair. You wanted to make your 1%ers club chuckle. Hope it was worth it.

So McNair clarified his words to Vincent, who was the patient zero for outrage, and Vincent understood McNair's meaning behind the phrase.

Yet everyone now is playing a game of telephone and snowballing this into chaos. Hopefully Vincent can publicly clarify McNair's words and state that there were no underlying racist nuances so we can get back to playing football.

your take sounds logically until you realize that there is only 53 jobs per team and there are literally thousands of elite athletes who work just as hard if not harder than those who made it. trust me, making it doesn't prove anything other than you had talent and got lucky. for everyone of the lucky athletes there are 100 times more unlucky ones at least. Kurt Warner, Warren Moon, Tony Romo, Wes Welker, James Harrison, Adam Vinatieri, Arian Foster, etc..., all say hello.

Even if there's no underlying racist nuance (I don't think there are), it's still a super problematic thing to say and players SHOULD be outraged about being viewed as an inmate in a prison or a mental institution that requires supervision.

This is probably the hottest thread in Texans forum history (over 300 posts in under 8 hours). As much as I would love for this to be quietly forgotten, the damage has been done. Consequences will never be the same!

The whole team should just kneel together since McNair is so against it, then forget about it and play football for the city of Houston.

It's a figure of speech to say that those in a lower position do not make decisions. It's used all the time between employer/employee, parent/child, teacher/student, etc.

No enough kneeling. Hasn’t helped anything. Something needs to be done that’s bigger.

and they all found a way in the NFL off their own talent and they stayed in the NFL off their own hard work and dedication

you don't just show up and get an NFL job. you earn it. this isn't mcdonalds where anybody without a criminal record can scrub the floors.

What's frustrating about all of this is that instead of the Texans focusing on the game, they are focusing on a way to protest a comment made by their owner.

I am pissed at both sides right now.

Maybe not inmates, but like modern slaves maybe. Slaves you gotta pay a little more money to then back in the day.
