Most butt clinching moment of the night: I think it was Peterson in the bottom of the ninth that sent the ball flying to the warning track. I really thought it was a walk off and I turned around and walked away from the tv in disappointment, only to hear Springer caught it at the warning track.

Everyone's experience might be different, but the Astros fans I heard from that were at the game said that the Dodger fans were really gracious and cool. They seem to have an appreciation for the troubles Houston has had recently. Of course there has been good-natured ribbing, but for the most part, it's been all about fun and games.

Dodger fans in my daily life have been good-natured and respectful as well.

Like I say, I'm sure other people have different stories.

It was Bellinger...but I had just about the same reaction. Looked off the bat like he nailed it. Think he just got a bit too much top spin and it died as an easy out.

Was so relieved until the next inning and broke multiple things.

Does anyone know of any baseball formulas that predicts win probability?

Id be curious to see our win probability with jansen against us with a two run lead i the 8th

I hung my head when i saw that swing. Baseball gods must be related to Mutombo because they swatted that ball down and gave the finger wag...not this time, not this time.

When we were down 3-1 in the 7th my wife "comforted" me and I joked that maybe the Astros would get lucky while I was getting lucky. I got back in front of the TV just in time for the top of the 9th and, well, the rest is history. I told her this morning that mid-game sex would now be a requirement during each game of the rest of the series.

I fell asleep in the 6th inning, totally missing the Seager HR. Woke up in the top of the 7th and decided to hang it up following the inning. Watched the rest of the game this morning. I cried. Over a ****ing baseball game. Just so much emotion watching it.

I think people are referencing the crying MJ baseball and the "Kardashian curse"

Speaking of, found this gem talking about the game last night in one of their boards:

"Good point by a caller on dodger talk. Last night was the Astros best punch and the Dodgers lost by 1. They used Verlander, their top relievers and the Dodgers lost by only 1. Further more their top 3 power guys all hit a home run and the Dodgers still almost pulled it out. If that was the Astros hardest punch the Dodgers are winning the series."

So I guess they just gloss over the fact that they also used their top relievers... as well as all their other relievers? And that Verlander held them to 2 hits, but they got homeruns on them?
