Agreed. Great contact can find gloves and the weak sometimes get rewarded.

If it wasn't the WS I would have loved for one of our pitchers to lay Pederson out the next time he came up after the way he went around the bases. I get being excited and how big of a hit it was but to me it was over the top. Just my opinion.

Lets not go back to LA and give those ungrateful bullpen jumping fans another game where they can enjoy their short tempered, bat fetishes, blue haired, soulless gingers, cavemen team again....

Stros have a real home field advantage.

Our crowd is going to be nuts.

Could Puig have been kicked out for poor sportsmanship when he threw his glove to the ground?

I admit that, in my baseball playing days, I once got tossed from a game trying to beat a grounder out at first and I threw my helmet out of frustration. It was like a quick flick of the helmet...nothing overly dramatic. I assume it would have been no big deal but, unfortunately, the helmet hit the first baseman. DOH! True story. That was the worst feeling in the world. I think they called my infraction "poor sportsmanship".

At the start of the Rockets season I put my 2 month old sold in a Rockets onesie and we won the game against the Warriors.

So before game 6 of the ALCS I said that we need some luck so I grabbed one his Astros outfits and put it one. We won that game of course and he wore it again game 7 and we won to go to the world swries.

Game 1 of the world series the onesie was dirty so I put a different Astros outfit on him. We lost.

So last night I put back the original good luck one and told the wife no matter what it doesn't come off. He spit up and drooled all over it but it didn't come off and we won an amazing game.

He will no longer wear any other outfit during an Astros game this season.

What about the first pitch homerun in game 1 Keuchel gave up? That guy was like skipping around the bases and all this crap. Did Keuchel have a problem with that?

It's pretty funny about the bat flips. I didn't even realize Correa had tossed his bat so high. I saw him flip it. But, maybe the Rangers-Bautista bat flip fiasco taught the rest of the league to lighten up a little when it comes to bat flipping. I've come around. Now, we just need to incorporate the "stand at home plate for 10 seconds and stare at your homerun well after it's landed" also...without a brawl. ;)

I was watching the Rockets game 2hours behind time, and this post spoiled the EGo game-winner for me. :(

That's what I get for trying to avoid the GARM, but still lurking around CFnet watching the Rox game on delay.

Dodgers can’t hate on us for Bat Flips or antics, we’ll because of Puig. That Culberson reaction was a bit much for the situation, IMO. I get he was a recent call up and it’s the WS but running around the bases with your arms extended in that moment seems odd. At the same time, I don’t think Dallas needs to be commenting. Focus on you because if all goes well it’ll be Kid Keuchy to close it out.

Yeah, but I would rather drop a large amount on a series clinching game.

You must be the idiot who started talking trash to me seconds after game 7 of the ALCS ended in Schofield, WI. That idiot said to me "yeah, well you barely beat the wild card team (conveniently leaving out that they beat the 103 win Indians) and you'll get trashed by the Dodgers." I turned to him and asked him to repeat himself because that didn't make any sense. He kept at it until I asked him if he was a Yankees or Dodgers fan. He said he was a Brewers fan. Once I asked him how they did in the playoffs...in the last decade...he quieted down at that point.

    Don't be that idiot.

Whatever everyone did yesterday, do it again on Friday, take no chances! Eat, drink, and do or don’t do the same activities no matter what that might have been.

Bat flips, trash talk, and general animosity... awakened the Astros. This is good for us and baseball.
