    Ok. I’ve been seeing all the crazy stats. First 5 hr postseason game ever. First time since 1960 both teams gave up leads in 9th+ inning in WS history. The back to back in extra innings first time in WS history. Etc.

    This stat right here. This is insane. 113 years of WS history and we saw 22% of all extra inning WS homers in one game in one hour.

    All I can say regarding the roof is that it was closed for all four games of the ALCS this year. Temperatures at the time of the game were upper 70s to low 80s for all four games. Only very light rain was observed on one of the days: the third home game on the 20th.

    If the league wants to force the roof open, they'll have to explain why they allowed it to be closed for the four previous home games under perfectly fine weather conditions. And I'm sure the Astros will have something extra firm to say about it given the shenanigans of 2005. My prediction: roof stays closed all three games.

    Still not going to be able to relax until this entire series is over. Praying before I go to bed that the team keeps its momentum through these days off and plays winning baseball in front of the home crowd like they did against the Yankees. If their last-minute heroics tonight don't shake off the cobwebs and keep them juiced, I don't know what will. C'mon, 'Stros. Aim to be holding a trophy in front of your screaming fans on Sunday.
