    He put up 16/20 with 4 blocks on Embiid and was +9 on the floor. Plus, he's shooting 87.5% from the free throw line. Kid's doing great.

    LMA averaged 18.8 (including 4 pts in the first game) on 50% FG against clint.
    for comparisons: 14pts on 45% with 5more minutes on avrg against memphis and 41% against GSW

    Kanter barely played in the OKC series because he cant guard a Highschool player.

    Pau Gasol is 37 and basically nothing more than a bench player at this point so nothing to see there.

    Did you watch the series? These singular stats you keep pulling up don't impress me.

    Watch the games and grasp what is happening, then come on back. He was fantastic on the defensive end against San Antonio.

    Why would i hate on him? I'm a Rockets fan, i wan't everybody to do great. CC is fine and if he still had 3 years on current salary, i'd love to take him. I just dont think its worth to match the salary hes 100% going to get.

    Your actual stats are nonsensical. Anyone can grab a small sample size of anything to shape it around their own opinion.

    For example, Clint nearly led the NBA playoffs in blocks last year, while playing in WAY less games. 28 blocks in 2 rounds of playoff basketball. #Doesn't defend.

    My point is I think it's dumb to try shaming a guy because his teammate helps on a big who is arguably the opponent's best player in Embiid's case, or a perennial all-star in Gasol's case. Cook, though.

    He also had the number 4 overall defensive rating in all of the playoffs last year, behind Giannis, Draymond and Dwight.

    MDA needs to just play Clint 30 plus minutes a game from here on out and let him learn from his mistakes. He's a rebounder, shot blocker and roll man. Some games this year he is still getting in the mid 20 minutes only. Even if in foul trouble, Clint HAS TO GET 30 plus minutes a game unless he foul out!

    He was also number 2 overall in defensive plus/minus, behind Andre Roberson.

    He also led the Rockets in Win Shares, number 10 overall in the NBA, in the playoffs last year.
