    Yeah I rolled my eyes when he said that. Not a great coach move saying bulletin board material. He probably was caught up in the moment but still not smart. Also put more pressure on an already mentally weak team going on the road.

    I recall posting before the BOS series, "offense was my biggest postseason-worry". Nobody agreed.

    Repeat '98, except one round later. Our current starters are better than 1998 has helped getting to the WS.

    Exactly why I was tripping in the Greatest Games Thread. F**k barn burners -- Games 1-2 vs BOS are my greatest. F**k Kershaw's greatness. We SHOULD'VE done better, not merely COULD'VE.

    I recall a postseason interview in '03 or '04....

    Biggio, "those guys (pitchers) are good".
    Kent, "f*** that, WE'RE good".

    No surprise which player was more clutch.

    Smoltz, you know damn well that it hasn't been the Dodgers outpitching the Astros; it's been the Astros hitting like dogshit that's led to this. You're a damn HOF pitcher; don't ****ing bullshit that the Dodgers' pitching has been that great.

    I feel like Verlander threw literally 2 bad pitches all night, and they were both home runs, while Rich Hill was awful and we only got 1 run off him.

    This is so frustrating, deflating, and sad.

    Just please don't get swept again, I can't take it.
