Hopefully, he becomes a good trade bait.

It wasn't speed because he had the rebound already. When he took the impact, that's when he became unable to secure the ball.

Hopefully he will progress to be a suitable off the bench guy by end of the season. We really don't have anyone that is a legit backup PF on the roster and he could possibly play that role. I am not comfortable with the small ball lineup being our only option if Anderson, Nene or Capella go down for extended time.

He's clearly not strong enough for the league at the moment. But I'm impressed at his ability to move his feet to stick to guards and use his length to contest shots. Yogi Ferrell is extremely quick and Zhou got a good block on him that was called a foul. You can never expect that from rookie big men.

I never said he didn't need to overall . I said several times that he likely will just by the nature of being with an NBA training staff, my biggest question with Zhou (because of how China's system works) is his motivation and passion for the game.

His play style is that of a finesse big. Who faces up and hits jumper. I said that offensively he does not need to put on weight to become a good offensive player, and since offense weighs more into how we judge players, that he can be a good player if his offensive skills continue to progress.

Defensively, of course he needs to get heavier. No one doubts that. Most rookies are terrible defensively anyways, it's going to take 2-4 years before he sniffs his potential there, depending on how bad he wants it which to me is the biggest question with him.

Nanu has no place on this roster right now. He is behind Black and Zhou. Both are young and cheap.

With both nene and Ariza out , Qi might get some minutes . There is time available at the 4.

James / Gordon / Jackson / Luc take up all 96 at the guard spots .

    Let's say 36/34/16/10

Then Luc plays with pj at the 3

    18/30

Ryan gets 30 at the 4 with Qi getting the other 18

And Capela shares time with black at the C

It would also be cool if cannan or another pg could take Jacksons mins.

    really?

he made 3 out of 21 in summer league = 14% and has made zero in the regular season

(insert excuse for real 3 point stats)

I'd definitely be down to see him playing with the real rotation to see if Harden can work with him or not.

In this offense, the 3 point shot is pretty important. But I don't like people randomly saying he can shoot the 3 (NBA , not CBA), when the stats says he's not a good 3 point shooter.

But yeah, throw him in and see what happens now, when we play some bad teams.

It looks like Thon Maker is a complete bust, so hopefully Zhou can buck the trend of wiry tall guys that lie about their age. ;)

Hey at least he's a 7 footer who's not afraid to shoot threes!!!

But seriously I think he has a interesting game... at best I see him as a average role player off the bench but he is still far from that. But I like the skill set he theoretically has. Just has to actually become a good NBA player

haven't you been around long enough to realize that judging a player by Summer league is completely moronic?

(insert excuse for not learning anything since 1995)
