Baseball Tonight just talked to a few guys from both teams, I can't really hate any of the Dodgers. Puig is just annoying, but that's it. I believe it was Seager and Turner who were very complimentary of the Stros.

Anyone give any credence to the theory that many of the Dodgers are juicers?

Turner, Jansen, Taylor, Morrow (to name a few) were JAGs through their Major League careers prior to landing in LA. Now they are all power guys for their respective positions. Throw in Puig who just looks like a juicer....maybe there is something to it.

    (tongue firmly in cheek)

Yep. Didn't piss on the couch, but very well could have. Alcohol is a vengeful b****.

Same. Got nothing against them- can't even dislike their fan base. Puig? Yeah- he's OK when you're winning, but you watch- he'll go back to being a major douchebag whenever the winning stops. He's just been this way too long, and I don't think he can change at this point. From my standpoint, he's the biggest ass by far in all of baseball- definitely an anomaly on that team.

He's Carlos Gomez back when Carlos Gomez could play.

Despite what I said earlier, I sure could learn to hate these bastards in a hurry.

He may be an ass, but Frazier sits alone at the top of faces that need to be punched.

I adopted the Dodgers as my secondary team back when we left the NL and partly because I love Vin Scully and Kershaw. They have a great team. With that said I hope we bash their brains in.

I miss Scully. I'd sometimes watch random Dodgers games late night just to listen to him. Same thing with Keith Jackson and college football.

Keith Jackson WAS college football for me. I still hear his voice when I watch college football. He just made everything more exciting.

Plus I missed 2-3 years of Astros baseball thanks to CSN Houston. So I had to keep up with baseball somehow and watching Vin Scully call Dodger games seemed like the thing to do.

Vin Scully is the goat. I wish Joe Buck would give up his seat for one WS game.

I agree. His voice is baseball. His stories were always fantastic.

While we’re on a Dodger love fest, I have to say that I freaking LOVE the organ playing. It’s so pure and good. It’s so retro. It’s so damned baseball.

Did anyone else catch any of it? I heard a few that caught my ear. GoT theme for one but there were a bunch of really cool bits here and there. I would give anything for that to happen at Minute Maid, anything at all.

Every time I see or read about Alabama football, I pronounce "Alabama" in his voice.

The organ is awesome. I remember the one in the Dome fondly. Been to 2 games at Chavez, it's an amazing old-school kinda park, it lets the game take center stage.

Let’s Go! Best Eished To The Astros!!!

(today is the 3rd time this month my dear mother, bless her heart, has typed Eished instead of Wishes when wishing a relative happy birthday. So, screw it - Eished it is!)
