He pitched pretty well. He made 2 mistakes. The dodgers did not have many hard hits.

Well, lets hope it works out. Probably going to be the same lineup then.

I certainly understand Hinch showing him a ton of confidence in front of the public, but I seriously hope somebody let him know that he wasn't even close to a single pitch tonight.

Like seriously, if somebody put a video together of Springer and Carlos Gomez side-by-side, they would look the exact same.

I’m fine with Springer leading off. This is how you learn and if it take s an entire postseason like it did for Altuve, this is good for him longterm, but I sure hope he changes his approach to the playoffs tonight. It was Kershaw, so everyone gets a pass from me. Light em up tomorrow and change the narrative.

Agreed. Feed them Liriano -- the other lefty.

Tell the bats it's a throw away, just go out and have fun. Who knows what that might have done if everyone was swinging for the yard.

Forgive me for asking but what does it mean when some posters surmise the Dodgers’ pitching would “pitch around Correa” if Springer were moved down from leadoff? I don’t follow baseball generally so an explanation of this practice would be appreciated.

This is the dumbest ******* thing I've ever heard in my life.

But other than that, I'm all aboard with your plan.

Holy ****. I mean, I suspected it, but our leadoff guy really IS that tied to his emotions? So if he doesn't get a hit, he'll feel bad and **** the bed again. It's the World ****ing Series. If you want to keep Springer at leadoff, give me a better reason than "It'll make him feel good."

Skipper Morey only accepts homeruns and walks. Everything else is... FORBIDDEN.

More than 2 mistakes, he walked a guy before making one of the mistakes. He had a lucky line-drive out for a DP.

"Somewhat decent" is how I would describe his pitching tonight.

The biggest brightside was the bullpen, namely Devo. Hopefully that continues.

Honestly Maybin should be in the lineup vs lefties over Marwin or Reddick but tough to trust him after that bs in game 3

He is an idiot. It also impacts what games our aces could pitch later in the series. You don’t concede games in the WS. So dumb.

Shortest world series game since ‘72 or ‘92... mostly from Springer taking 30 seconds to strike out every AB
