    Or offense. Gotta bring that.
    Oh, starting pitching...yep.
And defense, ask Gary Sanchez or BregMcCann.

If Astros win tonight I believe they’ll win it in 5. If the Dodgers win tonight I’ll take the Astros in 7.

Oddly, I am much less nervous and anxious about the World Series than I was for the DS or CS ... I know we don't want to settle for just making it and I want to win, but there is some comfort to me in making it to the Series. I feel like I can just sit back and enjoy it more than previous rounds ... Let's go Stros!!!!

Hinch is stupid, no one trusts Giles and Springer should be benched.

I really want them to win the WS, of course. REALLY.

However, if the Astros even win one game, just one, they will rank to me as the greatest Astros team to date.

Not much of a consolation, but I also believe this team has it in them to make a serious run for the next 2-3 years, as long as JV is here and we keep the core of Altuve, Correa, Bregman, Springer, Gurriel, Gonzalez, and Gattis (as the DH). As valuable as Reddick and McCann have been, I would be OK if they left. These guys will not need their veteran presence as much going forward, although McCann has been good with the catchers. But it's just not realistic that you're going to keep everyone.

Anyway, that's for another time. I think we will win it this year. I honestly think we are talented and determined enough. At the least, let them make it a Series- no sweep by LA. That would be a definite downer- and I don't see any scenario where that happens, especially in MMP.

After deep careful consideration, I'm willing to accept either scenario.

This is literally exactly how I feel. Since I began getting into following sports particularly Houston teams around '10 this is the first time I witnessed a Houston team make the final round. I'm more excited than nervous!

The only thing I guess I am slightly nervous about is falling into a quick 0-2 hole.

Run onto the field and run the bases and slide into home head first wearing a TMac jersey or I call bs.

Exactly, they were eliminated even with the help of the extra large strike zone for Yankee pitchers compared to Astro Pitchers. So if the strike zone is the same for both teams that will make it easier.

Dodger catchers are better at fooling the umps than McCann and Sanchez. If you didn't like the Yankee Zone, you might want to have some beer on hand.

Granted, Yuli has never heard of this strike zone you speak of.

    OK, on the pronunciation guide:

    1. They got Beltran wrong
    2. Did they really need to tell us to emphasize the first syllable in Bregman?
    3. They got Altuve's wrong, too- it should be:

    Jose Altuve (em-vee-pee)

I always prefer not to leave it up to the umpires anyway. Just play well enough that the umps' mistakes can't cost us the game. That being said, I will probably have some beer on hand, and either way, I'll hope for the best!
