All the more reason to call a clean game and well that didn't happen. Not even close.

they called a clean game from 6:22 to 3:17 in the 4th and the rockets still blew a 10 point lead in that stretch.

BS. The whole game was BS from an officiating standpoint.

yet the rockets were still up double digits in the 4th before they said **** it and started isoing and bricking until they blew that double digit lead.

Look we're going in circles. The league is a joke bc of the officiating- especially the slip/roll ankle call against Rox.

When your team is not playing perfectly you still expect clean officiating and well- that didn't happen- like non.

i expect when you're up 10 with 6 minutes to go in the 4th, you close the game instead of crying like a baby. i'd rather focus on the stuff they can control (like actually running an offense and making your jumpshots) over stuff out of their control.

refs aint got **** to do with making your jumpshots and iso'ing the game away..

rockets are going nowhere if they're so mentally weak to blame refs instead of their own execution because the refs are not just gonna hand them the game every single time when they're in the playoffs against the spurs or the thunder.

First... what was the line on the game?
Second... investigate all friends & family of the officials
Third... woop that a$$ on Weds, Friday, & esp. on Saturday!

This is a professional god damned league NOT the YMC fuking A.

You damned right I expect professional, clean officiating.

Let the players decide the game.

This team is good enough to overcome shitty rotations, bad shooting, isos etc but NOT good enough to play 5 on 8

Btw- u don't win championships in October unless you're talking about MLB. The Rox will be miles better down the stretch but the officiating will still SUCK.

they let the players decide the game from 6:22 to 3:17 in the 4th and the rockets didn't do **** and blew a 10 point lead while the grizzlies hit big shots.

speaking of the mlb. the astros got a lot of shitty calls in the ALCS but still handled what they had control over.

    That's your opinion

    October champions! Memphis Grizzlies lol.

We don't even have our full team out there and the season started early this year. Pump the hate brakes bruh.

Astros slumped hard at times this year and were written off by fans and media and look at them now.

Man, I’ve seen a few basketball games. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an official break up a pass that’s just swinging around the 3 pt line. I think maybe I’ve seen 2 or 3 refs catch a loose ball or something but like, literally walking in front of a pass. That dude should be on remedial duty for a year for that. That’s not something a league that has real problems convincing the fans their game isn’t rigged can let go.

Bad calls are one thing. Officials not knowing where to stand and having that sort of impact on the end of a big game is ludicrous.

The officiating was completely awful, but I see absolutely no excuse for the way we 'finished' that game. When the Grizzlies started making their run, they simply went at Ryan Anderson every offensive possession they had. By the time Capela was brought in to replace him, the lead we had been carrying all game had already evaporated.

Pretty easy to get Anderson to guard you when playing us. All an opposing team needs to do is simply get a screen and our defense automatically switches. There needs to be an adjustment made, at least regarding Ryan Anderson and switching. I don't even want to count how many mismatches we had tonight with Ryan defending pretty much anyone, and I really don't want to look at how many times the Grizzlies were able to get a mismatch with Gasol down low. **** is so predictable. I saw ****ing Nene guarding Mike Conley a little too much tonight. Jesus Christ. It's implemented due to its easiness, and our coaching staff's belief that we can outscore our opponents basically every night.

That being said, it's hard to put all of the blame on the officiating when this offense continues to repeat the same problems it has had for several seasons. I truly don't understand the logic. If we are absolutely cold from 3, ice cold, why is the answer to simply shoot more of them? The law of averages? I'm sorry but if Ariza has missed absolutely every shot he's taken all night, I do not want him shooting anything outside of a layup attempt. I'd rather give Nene post-up opportunites than to continually jack up 3s when we can't hit one to save our lives.

It's completely ugly to watch. Brutal. And the sad thing is, I feel like I've seen almost that exact scenario play out far too many times to count at this point. I saw it coming from a mile away.

I can't get over this ish.

This dude literally strolled into the play and stopped right in front of Gordon. I've never seen a ref just get in the middle of a play.

Either he's crooked or incompetent, wtf...

Even if you say "Harden should have seen instead of blind passing..." well, it doesn't matter if he sees him, he's basically doubling Gordon and preventing him from getting a pass. That is inexcusable at any point in the game.

Watch this dude officiate a finals game.
