Harden's passing-turnover off the ref was a horrible call, but why would MEM receive favoritism overall over HOU in HOU?

 

They called the foul on the play. The whistle was blown with a fist raised, before the altercation. Whether we agree with the call or not, it was called.

The review was for the fight, and who gets a technical/flagrant.

The video is on ESPN. It's plain as day a foul was called. Also, the guidelines for reviews are posted at NBA.com. No changes to those guidelines occurred this year.

my only explanation for why the ref stepped that close to the 3pt line was because he wanted a better angle to check for the Harden Rule.
