    Chalmers tripped Harden.

But on review, they called a foul on Harden (I guess a moving screen) before the trip.

These reviews are gonna be interesting

    lol at this logic

What fire is CP3 lighting from the bench? We’ve got “fans” hoping we lose games now, what a time to be alive.

it's never to early to worry about seeding, especially for the rockets, because inexcusable losses like this can rack up and affect your seeding down the line.

Can you just logically think about what you're saying for once.

You want us to lose 3-4 (bc **** seeding in the stacked West) so we can rush back a hobbled CP3 who hasn't even gelled in to the system yet.

    That's your quick fix?

    C'mon man.

And to me that's also on MDA tbh...the guys on the court were getting the job done at some point, they got some confidence, the ball was moving a bit better, you can see when a team is in a good flow. Meanwhile you know that Harden has his own style of play, his own pace, if the team is doing ok and you're winning with few minutes to go, just wait, why change something that's working? This is what i don't get...it's also just a regular season game, i don't think if you let the guys already in finish the game Harden is going to erupt etc...

    Agreed , good post .

Not enough ball or player movement tonight . James was a bit off today and when you've only got one superstar ... That matters a lot .

My god Anderson and Jackson looked horrific . And dantoni should've know better than to try and play small on Gasol with Anderson . Gasol is too good of a passer and is a great defensive player . Also Anderson is a p***y who won't shoot the ball.

Why are they going to be interesting? We already know what's going to happen. The league will say they made the wrong calls but nothing will change and the refs won't be held accountable so it won't matter. Nothing interesting in the slightest.

I'm just baffled. Can the NBA seriously not put any more money into training referees to at least be competent?

Every game I watch, I'm more glad I didn't renew my season tickets for the first time in 15 years. If the team isn't willing to put pressure on the NBA to put out a good product, then I sure as hell am not paying a dime into that system.

Upgraded my Astros seats with the extra money though. Ended up being a great decision, lol.

He needs space to go to work. He keeps going back to his one skill of creating space, isolation. There are so many ways of creating opportunities to score in basketball, yet all we see is iso, iso, iso, pass off to the closest guy without any inch of space for them to shoot.

At least ****ing drive then kick. That alone can create a tiny inch of space for his teammates to shoot. He keeps dumping off to guys like Ariza, Tucker, Mbah a Moute. These guys aren't world class dribblers nor creators. They are not going to know what to do with the ball. I'm tired of breaking down his game. It's the same over and over and over.

Gordon's game looks so different this year. He's attacking more than just camping at the 3s. Granted he's not great at handling the ball, he's still attacking the defense. Causing them to switch and move around. If I was Gordon, I would take the ball away from Harden's hands after his 3 straight isolation.

I mean, I agree, but still we are talking about one loss here to a team that is likely to hand out a few losses to our competition anyways.

A lot of over dramatic b****ing and complaing about a 3-1 team that lost a game without Chris Paul and against a Grizzlies team that just beat GS.

The Rockets were never winning 70+ games this year. The Rockets are going to lose a handful of games like this to solid teams.

There is no great epiphany from this game. The Rockets shot poorly from 3, often open 3's and the Grizzlies hit some tough shots and received some beneficial calls.

Nothing more.... the negativity really isn't warranted. When you shoot sub 25% from 3's and half your shots are 3's; you will typically lose.

Grizzlies are going to give teams fits this year. Playoffs are going to be brutal- Memphis won't win the WCF, but they're going to disrupt some other teams. I hope they aren't our first round matchup, because the last way to start a seven game series against OKC San Antonio or GSW is going six or seven games against them.

Why is the West so ****ing stacked?

it's not even about a loss for me. it's a bout a win they should have had.

if they're fighting from behind all game and take an L then cool whatever, but i wish this team would show more poise and urgency to close a game they dominated the whole way and was up double digits down the stretch.
