    that's an easy one, must be the rockets. NBA.com has already publish a post on the greek freak being the MVP, gave no love for harden again...doesn't matter, i still like our under-dog status. It's more joyful to prove those arses wrong with wins.

    Between the Astros dominating my thoughts and the CP3 injury, the Rockets really feel like an afterthought right now.

    There really is nothing more meaningless than early season basketball. Still in football,baseball mode, basketball takes the baton around December. Just stay healthy for the next few months, Harden is so damn good he can win most regular season games with minimal help.

    Now that James Harden and the Rockets don't care about the MVP, Harden was able to get rest instead of stats.

    I haven't watched the game close enough, but I'll look for that tonight on a replay.

    Man... if we could have kept Cat and paired him with McGrady... dear lord that would have been awesome. Take the load off Tracy. Still we had Yao. Oh man... what a dream that would've been.

    What? Kevin McHale got fired after six games and the team never recovered a couple of years ago because of a bad start to the season. Especially against the bad teams, you gotta treat the early part of the season as must win against these teams.

    But I get it tonight on a night where it’s all rightfully about the Astros and the Mavs didn’t even show up. That was such a pathetic performance by them that you can’t take much stock in how easily the Rockets will best even the bad teams.

    Make no mistake though, these games will haunt you in 4 months if you let one slip away that you should have won.

    Couldn't watch the game, just watched the highlights, looked rather one sided. Looks like Luc beasted.

    Is this according to power rankings? The hate is real though - ringer writer Chris Ryan openly admitted to being a Rockets hater. Kevin O'Connor mentioned in one of his pieces that hating on the rockets is a thing now. I think Andrew Sharp of SI is also an open rockets hater. I don't get it.

    At the same time, team websites on sbnation are writing about the rockets using adjectives like "powerhouse" and "juggernaut". There's some begrudging respect at least!

    This is not real (the 10th thing) but I could see it happening. We beat their favorite teams when they were all growing up. The Knicks and the Lakers.
