I grew up with Biggio, but jeez louise Altuve is just flat out dominant. If he keeps this up for few more years, does he go down as the greatest 2nd baseman of all time?

Nope, he screwed up that one play 2 years ago that made the Astros missed the Finals.

I think it’s pretty clear he’s on track to surpass everyone who’s ever played for Astros. Even biggio. Biggio will always be Mr. Astro though.

Altuve is the greatest, making Houston the team with the greatest set of second baseman ever. Jose Altuve gone full legend.

Assuming health 3000 hits is a virtual lock, and 4000 isn't out of the question, he has legendary potential.

The fact that he is coming up money in the postseason really solidifies it. If he stays here he has very good chance to be the best Astro ever.

Yes, he has potential to be a better hitter and is way more clutch in the postseason

he's had the best astros' post season run not named Beltran.
When they talk about the things altuve does, they have to reference legends that have passed on.

It's sacrilege for me to say someone better than Biggio but if we can have them both career Astros and he keeps it up Altuve can be the greatest, and honestly I couldn't be happier to have him. He's genuine and seems like he just loves to play the game, gotta love players like that, similar to Big in that way

He has a chance to be one of the best baseball players ever. He's already better than biggio

Altuve is awesome, but he still needs a lot of years to catch Biggio.

So true. I can't stand that most people refuse to acknowledge the Killer Bs seemingly historical levels of choke. Biggio diving at sliders two feet off the plate every October was painful to watch.

He will be the greatest Astro of all-time if they win the Series.

Knock on wood other than the 3 games in NY (which reminded me of the Killer Bs) this offense rakes like no other Astros team in my memory.
