Sadly but optimistically I have a feeling we'll be seeing McHugh early tonight, Uncle Charlie might not make the fourth inning. So I expect to see Charlie for the three until he pitches himself into a jam, then McHugh for three, Lance for one, then Musgrove, then Devo, Harris for two batters and Giles to close it

I think you tell Morton to give us 3 innings and let it all out. Then move down the line. McCullers for a couple, McHugh, and Peacock. It’s doable. I’d like to score about 10 just in case though.

Peacock been such a disappointment this postseason after a stellar regular season. Was hoping he could be a reliable #3 starter or a elite bullpen but he’s giving up runs and especially HR twice to judge.

Punchable face Gardner 34. Headley 33.

I don't want Charlie going more than two times through the order.

Keuchel is available out of the bullpen tonight.

In 2001, Randy Johnson was available out of the bullpen the next night after his start.

With 99 pitches last night, I would like to see JV available for an inning or so tonight as well.

Please God, be with the pitchers, Strom, and AJ Hinch.

    12 years too long.

The thing about Morton in his game 3 start, he was dealing good pitches. Frazier's wacky homer threw him off.

I think he'll do better in MMP.

Vegas odds are in favor of the Stros again tonight, even with Morton against Sabathia.

Hopefully JV doesn't need to pitch.

    Morton - McHugh - McCullers

If we have a big lead, wouldn't mind seeing Musgrove. We're gonna need him if we advance.

I've gone to this gif at several hard spots throughout the season. Bloody, but not dead, let's persevere as we have all season long. Let's GO!!! WOOOOOOOOO!!

Frazier on the Yankees deserves zero success. Least talented hitter on the field in this ALCS. I've never seen a pro guess as much as him at the plate. He's been rewarded all series with these disgusting swings.

I read somewhere that in addition to the homer, 3 of the 4 weakest hits in the entire postseason through that game by exit velocity, launch angle (not bunts) were against Morton that game.

    Astros are 2-4 all-time in winner-take-all games.

Let's get closer to .500 today

I believe it. With two outs there was the little dink that went perhaps 45 feet. Following that was the dunk that dropped into no man's land in the outfield.

Yup. Most of the hits off Morton just felt like pure luck. He was throwing great pitches with plenty of movement and accuracy.

Last time I was at a game 7 of any sort, things went very, very well for Houston.

On a related note, can Hakeem pitch tonite?

I get why so much of the talk leading up to this game is about the Astros pitching and why that's top of mind for everyone. But it will be a moot point if the Astros hitters don't do better against Sabathia than they did in Game 3. They need to carry that offensive momentum from yesterday's game into today and get some early runs.

Game 3 with Morton was a total weird game... Morton actually threw decently. The golf swing by Frazier got them the early lead...followed up by a misplayed ball by Maybin...
